Terms of service

The rules that apply when you use PropShield.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply between Retail Shield Group ("we") and the agency that subscribes to PropShield, and to anyone the agency invites. By using PropShield you agree to them.

2. Your account

  • Keep sign-in details secure and tell us about any unauthorised use.
  • The agency is responsible for who it invites and the roles it gives them.

3. Subscriptions

  • Plans, prices and included services are agreed with each agency.
  • Invoices are payable by the due date. We may suspend changes to an account that is unpaid; you'll still be able to view your records.
  • You can cancel at the end of your billing period.

4. Your data

Agencies own the records they put into PropShield and are responsible for their accuracy and for having the right to store them. We process that data on your behalf as described in our privacy policy.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, try to access other agencies' data, upload unlawful content or interfere with how it runs.

6. Compliance, money and AI

PropShield provides tools to help organise compliance, rent and accounts. It does not give legal, tax or safety advice, and you remain responsible for meeting your own legal obligations. AI suggestions are for staff to review and are never final decisions.

7. Availability

We work to keep PropShield available and secure but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may change features over time.

8. Liability

Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending the agreement

Either side may end the agreement as set out in your subscription. You can export your records before closure.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions? Contact us.
